- Battery Monk (H-M - C:2 - 1H - You may pay 1r less the next time you acquire a Construct this turn. Draw a card)
- Fire Tyrant (M - P:6 - Rw: Gain +6h. Each opponent must discard a card)

I think I would nap the Staff with the first pick, and try and go Power heavy, esp. with 3 Mobs in the Starting 6. Turn 2 you always have the fallback plan to go double Heavy, and if a great lower cost card flips, get that and a Heavy (like Spike Vixen or Void Initiate). It would take a REALLY strong 3 or 4 for me to abandon taking 2 Heavies such as Arha Sensei, Shadow Star (strong in this strat early on), Arbiter of the Precipice, or Twofold Askari.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI'm in agreeance with Lance. I'd pick up the Staff and then wait for the turn to pass back to me. If there weren't any other power producers, I'd go 2 Heavies and try to go power heavy to defeat any type of Mechana Strategy the person who picks up Socket Altar might try to put together.
